I was honored to represent Berlin and all adult ice skaters in this video by Deutsche Welle, Germany’s broadcaster to the world. It is even more meaningful to me because as a young boy in New York, I listened to the scratchy, distant voices of Deutsche Welle through the headphones of my shortwave radio. I certainly could not imagine then, that one day I would be living in Berlin and featured on their programming. That is how life works. We can only live everyday to the best of our abilities (which honestly, often may seem like the worst of our abilities.) How we live our life is a model to others and despite the particulars of my story, in the end, it is not unique. What is the inspiring video of your life about?
